Project #1 is a TEA TOWER! That is right! Y'all know I love making boxes (after all, we have made at least 3 different kinds!) Take a look at this one. It is a lovely piece to keep your teabags handy - or - a gorgeous gift! This tower will hold an entire box of Bigelow tea bags! If you want to add ribbon, of course you may! PLUS, you will make your own box top shim to keep forever and ever so you never have to 'smoosh' a box again to get the top on. Every top you make will fit perfectly! IYKYK
Project #2 is an Origami Card! The origami centerpiece unfolds to reveal a hidden message, and the panel untucks from the lobster claw for your main message. I just love this fun ocean themed card, but this card is a jaw dropper regardless of the theme! BONUS – the origami section is a perfect place to tuck a check or some green money! (fun aside- I made this style card for my daughters for Mothers Day, using Storybook Suite. My oldest glanced at me, then pulled a corner free and found her check and hidden message. She mentioned she received a ‘store-bought’ card from her little ones. The card had a ribbon which she kept pulling to see what happens. Her husband told her it was just a Hallmark card, not one of “Nonna’s”. The ribbon was useless. BWAHAHAHAHA!!) The Storybook Suite, with those adorable die cuts ... or a lovely floral theme... Make it masculine! THIS is a fun fold you will use time and time again!
Can't make it on the 17th but want to know how to make the Tea Tower or this Origami fold? STAMP BY MAIL!! $10 for 1 and $15 for both! You will receive all of the papers and cardstock cut and scored, all stamping done, embellishments, ribbon and dimensionals (NO OTHER ADHESIVES WILL BE INCLUDED) plus detailed directions so you can put your projects together. I will put all of your materials in the mail to you the Monday following class, and text or email (your preference) the tracking number. Payment is accepted via Zelle or Paypal (teachph@aol.com) as Friends and Family *only* please.
